The No. 5+ chessboard in padauk and maple with round corners is a wooden chessboard without algebraic notation, finished in a classic marquetry style and made for standard and larger pieces. Its 52 × 52 cm format and 55 mm squares make it a natural match for 3.5"-3.75" pieces, including Staunton No. 5 and Staunton No. 6.
The board combines padauk, maple and birch wood, with dark padauk areas creating a warm contrast against the lighter wood tones. The inlaid construction gives it a traditional look, while the round corners soften the overall shape and set it apart from boards with straight edges.
