This No. 6 chessboard with notation combines walnut and maple marquetry in a practical 54 × 54 cm format. It is designed for standard play and pairs well with large Staunton No. 6 pieces.
The 58 × 58 mm squares make it suitable for large 3.75" pieces or Staunton No. 6 sets. The board has notation and a marquetry finish, giving you a clear, familiar layout for regular use.
Four felt pads on the underside help the board sit securely on a table, desk or other hard, level surface. It is very similar to the walnut and maple DGT electronic chessboard, but this version has no electronics and is slightly thinner.
The pieces shown in the photo are not included and can be purchased separately in our chess shop.
