French Staunton Acacia/Boxwood 3,5" chess pieces

French Lardy Staunton chess pieces, 3.5 inches are a complete set of wooden chess pieces in the classic Staunton style, made for regular play on boards with 45–50 mm squares. The French Lardy pattern gives the set its familiar profile, while the hand-finished construction keeps it practical for everyday use.

These pieces are handmade by Indian craftsmen from boxwood and rosewood. The light pieces keep a natural pale wood tone, while the dark pieces have a deeper brown colour and visible grain. A polished surface gives the set a neat finish, and the pieces are comfortable to handle during play.

The set includes 34 pieces: 16 light pieces, 16 dark pieces and 2 additional queens. The pieces are weighted for better stability on the board, and each base is covered with protective green felt to help them move smoothly across the squares.
