This Royal Maxi is a folding wooden chess set that combines a classic look with practical everyday use. It is compact enough for travel, yet the folded board also works as a case for storing the pieces neatly inside.
The carved chess pieces are made from hornbeam and beech wood, giving the set a traditional wooden feel. The king stands 65 mm high, so the pieces remain easy to read during play without taking up unnecessary space.
