This Lux Black wooden box is made for storing chess pieces and is designed for Staunton No. 5 sets with a king height of about 90 mm. It gives each piece a dedicated place between games and helps keep the set organised at home, in the club or while travelling.
The interior has fitted inserts for individual pieces, so each one has its own place. This layout also helps reduce pieces knocking against each other during storage. The box has a black-stained finish.
