The set is built around a padauk chessboard with alphanumeric notation, which makes it easier to record moves and follow game analysis. It is suitable for practice, club play, school use and home games.

The Timeless / German Knight pieces are matched to the No. 5 board format. The king stands 3.5 in high, with a 33 mm base, while the pawn measures 46 mm high with a 26 mm base. That gives the set proportions that work well for regular play and for reading positions quickly during more complex games.
