Wooden chessboard 38 mm (without notation) mahogany/sycamore

This 38 mm inlaid wooden chessboard is a compact No. 4 board with no notation, designed for smaller chess pieces and everyday play at home, in the club or while travelling. Its 38 mm squares and 360 × 360 × 14 mm format make it a practical choice without losing the clean, classic look of a notation-free board.

Inlaid finish and everyday use

The board is made from sycamore, birch and mahogany wood, with an inlaid finish that gives the squares a neat, traditional appearance. Because it has no notation, the playing surface stays uncluttered and visually simple.

Four stabilising pads on the underside help keep the board in place during play and also protect the table or desk beneath it. At 14 mm thick, it is slim enough to store easily while still remaining suitably rigid for regular use.

It is designed for smaller No. 4 chess pieces.
