Exclusive tournament chessboard, size 48 x 48 cm, finished with walnut and sycamore inlay, twice varnished. The 50 x 50 mm squares are perfect for our No. 5 Stauntons and imported 3.5 inch chess pieces.
The perfect combination with this chessboard are German (Timeless) pieces in size 3.5". We then get a set almost identical (smaller size) to electronic sets known from the largest chess tournaments.
The board has a black frame separating the field area from the edges of the board. There are 4 felt pads at the bottom of the chessboard that ensure stability on a table, desk or other hard and even surface.
Most chess tournaments are held on chess boards with fields ranging from 50 to 58 mm. Cardboard and plastic chessboards as well as classic wooden and electronic boards from DGT are used.
Different chessboards visible in the photo are not included in the offer and can be purchased separately in our chess store.
