Adios 4" chess pieces in red padauk and boxwood are a complete set of weighted chess pieces with a strong colour contrast, designed for regular play, display, collection or gifting.

The dark pieces are made from warm reddish-brown padauk wood, while the light pieces are made from boxwood. The contrast makes the two sides easy to tell apart, and the natural grain of the wood remains visible. As with any wooden set, the tone and grain may vary slightly from piece to piece.

For everyday use, the weight helps the pieces sit more steadily on the board, and the protective felt on the bases helps them move smoothly. The set also includes extra queens, which is useful when a pawn is promoted.
