This No. 5 chessboard with coordinates is a tournament-format wooden board with an inlaid mahogany and sycamore pattern, made for Staunton No. 5 pieces and practical use in club play, training, analysis and recorded games.
Built for regular play
The board measures 480 × 480 mm, with 50 mm squares and a 14 mm thickness. Algebraic notation runs around the edges, making it easier to record moves during play. The underside is fitted with protective pads to help keep the board steady and to protect the surface beneath it.
It is sold as a single chessboard, without pieces. If you are looking for matching pieces, you can pair it with STAUNTON No 5 - handmade.
