STAUNTON Std No 7 (in wooden box, light)

This Staunton Std No 7 is a classic set of Staunton-style chess pieces supplied in a light wooden box for use on a separate board. With a 100 mm king and weighted pieces, it is suited to games on chessboards No. 6 and 6+.

The pieces are made from hornbeam wood and finished in a lightly rustic style that keeps the traditional chess look. Each piece is weighted, sits comfortably in the hand and moves smoothly across the board, while protective pads on the bases help guard the playing surface.

Storage and presentation
